“Color is me!”

My mission is to create beautiful and original pieces of art that express my inspiration from living in the land of Israel, and my connection to the land, and to my Jewish roots. I love painting on silk. I love to see how the dyes I paint with come to life when I paint layer upon layer to create a rich and vibrant flower, tree, building or wall. Whatever theme I choose to paint, allows me to reach a richness in my design because I can paint in layers. I love the added richness of any of my designs when I weave a blessing or Psalm into a specific design. Often times, the specific chosen verse is added into the design in a way that truly flows with the lines and shapes that I’ve created.

As a young girl, a favorite activity was to play “dress up”. Wearing my mother’s old bridesmaids dresses, “glamorous” jewelry and fun hats. Today I’m able to express those feelings of elegance through designing scarves.

Each one is a wearable piece of art, infused with the same spirit of beauty, tradition, and storytelling that guides all my work.
